Featured Presentation

Building Your Myth Busting Lab With Power BI

Speaker: Julie Koesmarno, Senior Program Manager Microsoft

Summary: Did you know that a large portion of Information Workers’ and Data Analysts’ tasks are akin to “myth” busting? How can Power BI be used for these myth busting tasks? What if myth busting can be as easily done as few clicks or asking questions in plain English? This session will demonstrate how to create an ideal Myth Busting lab for data gathering, modelling, analysis, visualisation and collaboration all in one suite.

About Julie: Julie Koesmarno, MCSE Data Platform, and MCSE Business Intelligence, MCT, is a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, with a Bachelor’s degree in IT. She has over 10 years of experience working with SQL Server for large-scale and multi-million-dollar OLTP and ETL projects as a SQL Server developer and system analyst/designer. Her past projects include delivering a SQL Server 2012 data warehouse and BI solutions in the US and Australia. She now works with hybrid, cloud and on-prem SQL projects.
